To celebrate the nationwide launch of McDonald’s Spicy Chicken McNuggets, the fast-food chain is offering a buy-one-get-one free deal Wednesday.

The special has been dubbed “Spicesurance” and will only available on the McDonald’s mobile app: Order a six-piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets through the app and get another six nuggets, either classic or spicy, for free.

It’s the first flavor McDonald’s USA has introduced to the McNugget since the product debuted in 1983. The nuggets are breaded with a tempura coating made of both cayenne and chili peppers.

But the Spicesurance offer comes with a lot of fine print – nearly 9,000 words of it, and it’s different from the terms and conditions of most offers.

“This Spicesurance document lays out, in specific detail and with great clarity, the rights of the spice-seeker, as it pertains to their enjoyment and savoring of the tender, crispy, specially flavored McDonald’s Spicy Chicken McNuggets,” the document shared with USA TODAY notes. “Spicesurance is McDonald’s effort to cover every possible eventuality so that a good time for the spice-seeker may be had.”

A new way to get a Cinnabon fix: Cinnabon frozen cinnamon buns, chicken sandwich now available at Walmart, coming soon to Target, Safeway

McDonald’s Travis Scott Meal: McDonald’s and Cactus Jack collaboration expands beyond Travis Scott Meal with new shirts, chicken nugget pillow

The terms come with a 40-minute plus video of Anthony “Spice” Adams, actor, comedian and former NFL defensive tackle, reading the document line by line.

To pair with the new limited-time McNuggets, McDonald’s is also introducing a Mighty Hot Sauce combining crushed red pepper, spicy chilis and savory garlic.

From Sept. 22-28, McDonald’s has a deal on McDelivery orders on Uber Eats. With a $20 minimum purchase, get a free 10-piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets.

The chain also has a limited-edition Travis Scott Meal available through Oct. 4. The $6 collab meal includes the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, bacon and lettuce, a medium order of fries with BBQ sauce and a Sprite. The collaboration with Cactus Jack also includes clothing, hats, a lunch box and a $90 nugget body pillow.

The new McNuggets will already have plenty of competition in the spicy nugget space, as rival chains Wendy’s and Burger King offer their own spins on the menu item.

Shake Shack also brought back a spicy favorite, the Hot Chick’n, the spicy version of the classic Chick’n Shack sandwich along new “hot” items made with with the same guajillo chile and cayenne pepper dusting: Hot Chick’n Bites, Hot Spicy Fries and Hot Spicy Cheese Fries.
