While the chance to save on top-rated candles from Anthropologie Home and Voluspa doesn’t come around often, thanks to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you can snag some of the most coveted options from these popular brands for less.

As one of the biggest sales of the year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is your chance to score unbelievable savings on candles, fashion and so much more. Right now, Icons cardholders can still shop the sale early, before it opens up to the general public on Wednesday, August 19. This savings event, which lasts until Sunday, August 30, is essentially Black Friday for the ultra-trendy among us, and while you can always apply to become a Nordstrom cardholder and get a head start on the deals, you’re still in for a great time shopping this mega sale. (Another perk? Shipping and returns are free for all items, too.)

But for candle lovers especially, the deals are just too good to skip. Case in point: You can get Voluspa candles for a steal during this mega-sale. The brand’s candles are some of my favorites because of their ultra-long burn time (you can get roughly 50 hours off a single candle) and their good throw, which is candle-nerd speak for how strong they smell in a given room. Some candles have a delightful fragrance when you bring them up close to your nose and do a sniff test, but once you light the wick, that aroma has a faint waft (or “throw”), and you’re left with a watered-down, barely-there version of the smell you thought you were getting.

Voluspas aren’t like that, though, and during this Nordy event, you can get two of their bestselling selections, the Saijo Persimmon and Pink Citron, on sale for $12 (Originally $18). Made from a coconut wax blend with a cotton wick, each candle comes in a vibrant tin (pro tip: the tins make great storage when you’ve used up the last of the wick) and are made using sustainable materials. The Saijo Persimmon is slightly better received by shoppers—it has a 4.8-star rating to the Pink Citron’s 4.6-star rating—but matter which option you choose, it’s still a one-way ticket to sweet-scented paradise. 

You can also get the Anthropologie Home Small Unicorn Candle for $15.90 (Originally $24), which has a 4-star rating on the site. While this hand-poured paraffin-blend wax option isn’t quite the same as Anthro’s legendary Capri Blue candle ($22 and sadly not included in this sale), it could be a good choice for shoppers who favor floral-scented options, as this has heavy notes of gardenia. If you already know you love the fragrance, you can also grab it in large for $24.90 (Originally $40).
