It’s the most wonderful time of the year, folks! It’s not the holiday season I’m referring to, of course, but rather the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. As one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year, our team at Reviewed has been working tirelessly to cover it in full, all to help our readers get the best products at unbeatable prices.

From cult-favorite buys to celebrity favorites, this sale truly has something for everyone to save big on, including brand names such as UGG, Sperry, The North Face, Vineyard Vines and so many more. And now that it’s officially open to the public rather than just Nordy cardholders, we thought we’d share the things we’ve picked up (or have been eyeing), to give you a little shopping inspiration! Ahead, find the products our editors just had to call out, because they’re simply that amazing.
1. A pair of ultra-comfy PJs
Rarely, if ever, do I buy myself essentials—pajamas included—especially when they’re upwards of $50. For me, it’s just not a “fun” buy. But this gorgeous set, which looks like it will easily be able to double as loungewear on those days I just can’t with getting dressed, seemed worthy of the spend. Since I don’t have them in my possession just yet, I’ll have to report back on the quality, but I can say with plenty of confidence that I’m very much looking forward to slipping into them. Although sizes are dwindling fast for this style in particular, there’s plenty of other Flora Nikrooz sets included in the sale, thankfully.

2. This high-end children’s brand
I always try to nab Nununu pants at the Anniversary sale because the brand is French (I think) and usually super expensive. I hate buying expensive kids’ clothes, because they inevitably get trashed, but my son loves their pants, so I always feel like I scored when I get them half off. While I couldn’t find the brand’s pants on sale, this adorable Nununu t-shirt is 40% off!

3. These tall, block-heel riding boots
I’m in the market for some new knee highs and I’m in love with this Naturalizer pair. I’m all about comfort and Naturalizer shoes do the job—and look amazing while doing it. Not the mention, this pair is $80 off! The only problem with them is that I can’t decide between chocolate leather or black leather.

4. A pair of inexpensive yet quality leggings
I had heard about how great Zella’s affordable leggings are, so I bought them at last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and fell in love. While they’re not as soft as my Beyond Yoga leggings, they’re super high quality for the price and after using them for a full year, I’m stocking up on a few more colors and grabbing another black pair. At less than $40, I can get three for the price of one high-end pair.

5. A pair of joggers made for lounging
I love Eileen Fisher’s drapey, cozy aesthetic. Her sweaters in calming, neutral colors are like giant blankets that make you feel like you’re wearing a big hug. As I continue to accept that I’m going to be working from home for the foreseeable future, I need to step up my loungewear game. These wool joggers are comfy enough for the couch, but chic enough to not be embarrassed when running to the mailbox or walking the dog.

6. These pleather leggings that go with anything
Look, there’s just no easy way to say this, so I’m just gonna be direct: Quarantine and my diet have not mixed well together. I try to tell myself to ease up—no, girl, you really don’t need another box of Cheez-Its right now, you know you’ve had enough and you can’t be trusted to munch in moderation here—but do I listen to the voice of reason? Nope.
But that’s something I appreciate about Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. It’s not just because they’ve got thousands of rave reviews or the fact that I could get them for a rare discount thanks to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. No, for me personally, the singular appeal of these glossy, curve-hugging leggings is that at last, I have a pair of stretchy pants in my life that I know will keep my butt looking good, even if I spend the whole rest of this quarantine gobbling up chips, chocolate and assorted other delicious snacks. Big bonus: They look hella cute with my leather jacket, too.

7. A pair of rose-colored glasses (literally)
I’ve had my eye on the Ray-Ban Round Metal sunglasses in the pink shade for quite some time now, but have never quite found myself ready to click that “order now” button. So when I saw this super similar pair by Quay included in the Anniversary sale, they immediately called out to me. I’ve also lost a pair of Ray-Bans before, which has always made me hesitant to invest in a new pair, but since these sunglasses are under $50, I wasn’t nearly as gun-shy.

8. These boots that you’ll want to stomp around in
When it comes to style, I gravitate toward pieces that will help me stand out from the crowd, and these leather Børn boots are guaranteed to help me do just that thanks to the studded wraparound straps. They’ve got a respectable 2.75-inch heel (just enough to give me a lift while still allowing me to get around in winter weather), and a cushioned footbed with arch support. Even if I have to wait a while to show them off, I have a feeling it’s a purchase I won’t soon regret.

-Nicole Briese, Senior Deals Editor
9. A bra that won’t dig into your skin
The Wacoal No-wire contour bra is my favorite bra ever, so I try to get a few at the sale every year. They’re normally almost $70, but they’re priced at $35 which is a major steal! Plus they’re insanely comfortable and flattering.
Get the Wacoal How Perfect No-Wire Contour Bra for $39.90 (Originally $65)
