Wendy’s has unveiled when it will start serving breakfast nationwide.
An hour after the Dublin, Ohio-based fast-food chain invited McDonald’s to “roast us” on Twitter, it said March 2 was the launch date of its breakfast menu.
Wendy’s, which has been a holdout in the breakfast area among major national chains, announced in September that it would take its breakfast program currently in 300-plus restaurants nationwide.
“People deserve a delicious, affordable and higher quality breakfast than what they’re currently getting, so that’s exactly what we’re going to serve when Wendy’s launches breakfast nationally on March 2,” Kurt Kane, Wendy’s U.S. president and chief commercial officer, said in a news release.
Items on Wendy’s breakfast menu includes the Breakfast Baconator, Frosty-ccino and Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.
